From.Oceans.To.Autumn – Atmospheric, post-hardcore/Sludge
Brandon Helms (guitars, samples) and Allen Knight (bass) founded From Oceans to Autumn in the summer of 2006 — shortly after laying to rest their previous band, Autumn Is Forever, which had a long run between 1997 and 2004. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the pair proceeded to recruit Eddie McDaniel (drums) and Jodi Haas (guitar) in order to record their debut full-length, Calmed by the Tide, which was released by Forgotten Empire Records in 2007, and showcased a broad range of instrumental post-metal and drone rock influences including Isis, Taken, Earth, Sunn 0))), and Rosetta. From Oceans to Autumn also released a split album with Scottish labelmates Fire on the Horizon in July 2008. In October 2010 FOTA released their 2nd album “On Earth As It Is”.

Mountains Among Us- Atmospheric/Sludge/Doom/hardcore
Mountains Among Us was formed in early 2008 featuring members of post/hardcore band From.Oceans.To.Autumn. Although similar in style and approach, MAU expands F.O.T.A.’s sound and experimentation to new heights and features a much heavier edge overall. Their first release was “True North” in 2008 followed by “Believer” in 2009.

Autumn Is Forever- Progressive/metal/rock/ambient/hardcore
Autumn Is Forever was formed in 1997 and released several demo’s and ep’s until late 2003 before going on extended hiatus for several years. In 2006 the band rejoined and recorded and released “Breathe/Fall” in December 2006 through Forgotten Empire Records as FER001. Members went on to form From.Oceans.To.Autumn in late 2006 and Mountains Among Us in 2008.
